What Affects the Price?

Custom glass is not a commodity. Here are the 8 key factors that determine your final quote.

1

Glass Clarity

Clear glass has a slight green tint due to iron content. Low-Iron (Starphire or OptiWhite) is ultra-clear and premium, essential for maintaining the true tone of white or light-colored tile.

2

Glass Thickness

3/8" (10mm) is entry-level heavy glass used for many residential applications. 1/2" (12mm) offers a heavier, more luxurious feel and rigid stability for tall panels.

3

Complexity & Fabrication

To ensure safety and meet building codes, certain layouts will require specialty hardware or "creative" design solutions. Sloped ceilings or intricate tilework act as cost multipliers due to the precision required.

4

Hardware Finish

Brushed Nickel and Chrome are common timeless finishes. Unique or custom finishes vary in price based on scarcity and manufacturer.

5

Protective Coatings

Untreated glass can stain over time. Factory-applied coatings like EnduroShield seal the surface, making it water-repellent and easy to clean.

6

Warranty Coverage

We stand behind our work. For select project types, pricing can include lifetime coverage on workmanship, hardware, and glass. Final coverage is confirmed during quoting, and separate glass-breakage protection may be handled independently.

7

Timeline & Rush Options

Most projects are completed in less than 2 weeks. Rush options available depending on workload and job complexity.

8

Job Site Access

Areas with limited space or unique access and delivery conditions may require special equipment, vehicles, or techniques that can increase risk and cost.
