Installation Timeline What to Expect

From measurement to your first shower: a typical 7-10 day journey.

processtimelineinstallation

Custom glass is fabricated to order to precise 1/16" tolerances. Here is the typical timeline for a standard project.

1. The Expert Measure (Day 1)

Once your tile is grouted and solid, we arrive to laser-measure the opening. We verify walls for plumb/level and finalize hardware choices. Constraint: We cannot measure until tile is 100% complete.

2. Fabrication (Days 2-8)

Your drawings go to the tempering oven. Glass is cut, polished, notched, and tempered. This process cannot be rushed without risking quality.

3. Quality Check & Hardware Prep (Day 9)

Glass arrives at our shop. We inspect edges, verify dimensions, and pull your hardware hardware kit.

4. White-Glove Installation (Day 10)

Our team arrives (usually between 8am-10am). A typical shower install takes 2-4 hours. We protect your floors, install the unit, clean the glass, and demonstrate how to use it. Note: Silicone needs 24 hours to cure before water use.

Rush Options

Need it faster? "Stock" sizes (if your walls are perfectly plumb) can sometimes be installed in 2-3 days, but true custom heavy glass requires the standard timeline for safety and fit.
