Glass Handling Safety
Safety is paramount when handling heavy tempered glass. Follow these protocols to prevent injury.
Safety Protocols
- PPE: Always wear cut-resistant gloves, wrist guards, and safety glasses.
- Edge Protection: Never place unprotected glass edges directly on concrete or tile.
- Lifting: Use suction cups for panels over 50lbs. Lift with legs, not back.
- Team Lifts: Mandatory 2-person carry for any panel exceeding 80lbs.
